Free legal music online

Hi all,

I signed up a while ago on this site below for mp3 music file downloads:-

www.mp3fiesta.com

I don't know what it's like for new subscribers now but when I joined I was given a $10 welcome credit to use on the site. Each download I've made so far has cost between 20 and 30 cents adding up to around 40 - 50 free tracks.

Another option is online jukeboxes where you choose the music you listen to such as

www.spotify.com

There are 2 options - one is subscription based for a monthly fee (£9.99 seems a bit steep to me). Another option is the free version but in this case it's a but like a commercial radio station (but where you pick the songs that are played) - you have to listen to an advert in between every 6 or 7 songs or something like that.

To use spotify, when you sign up to either the free or subscription service, there is a piece of software that downloads and runs on your PC when you want to use it.

Apologies if this is old news.

Not sure this is in the correct forum. It is entertainment though.

Thanks for reminding me about Spotify. Will sign up today.
