Hiya
I should take it back,I don't think you will have a problem. I took one back because the lid on the pads was loose and they had dried up. I paid £8.80 for it with free powder and a free lip colour and the SA just did an exchange for me. If the SA does the exchange through the till make sure you hand over you AC if you used it on the original transaction as I didn't and on my next transaction I had points taken off for returning something!!!!!!! Got them put back though!!!
Angie - thanks for helping me decide. I will return it for a swop and be brave!0 -
Can anyone confirm if the 'Magic 3' vouchers work in the Albion St, Leeds store please??? Either thro the normal tills or the SS ones. Not dared to try it yet and is a right old scaredy-cat....and running out of time!!!!
Thank you
Hi Miro. I am down south but used my magic 3 today and had no idea if they would work on a manned till but took a deep breath and went for it.. IT WORKED. so my advice is try it. Just make sure you hand over the glycolic peel voucher last and add a few low price items so the till doesn't owe you the £1.20 or so. Also, maybe use a manned till away from the No7 counter because they can be funny about vouchers (just my experience). I was shaking before and after but thought I can just pretend I can't find my debit card to pay if it all goes wrong LOL0 -
Thank you ladies and gents for posting all your purchases...I officially have my Boots mojo back. Found the Nivea lipglosses today. My best friend uses these all the time so I got her three packs for £2.46 as well as 3 packs for myself. They were prices at £4.89 on the shelf but I got them price checked and they came up at £1.23 (this was in the Ipswich Tower Ramparts shop)...was also stunned to see that an individual tube of the same size (10ml) retails at over £3! Found the last set of NC bags at £1.23 and also the other wash bags that people have been talking about with the names of lots of world cities on them. Bought two of these at about £3 each. Great leaving gift for a girl at work who is leaving to go travelling around the world. Found some boots extracts body scrubs for just under £2 and 3 packs of No17 wipes at 99p each (needed these anyway) each with a free nailvarnish (didn't need these but now that I can reach my toes again the nails deserve a bit of attention!). Great shop all in all and I'm very pleased. THere are still at least 6 packs of the Nivea lipglosses on the shelf in that store by the normal lipglosses. Hope that helps somebody and thanks again for all your postings. XMake £2012 in 2012 member #88

Just a quick one. I used a pooey on a BJ pink sharpener last week and it went through for free with some other non-related voucher items. Tried today on the same thing but the till bleeped and the voucher wouldn't work. The lovely SA tried it with me buying it on it's own and with something else (bottle of water) and it just wouldn't accept it. Maybe Mr B has cottoned on to this one and won't accept the voucher for these now??
The BJ nail varnish remover did work (3 times!) with a pooey and only 44p to pay each time. So am still a happy bunny.0 -

(yeah right, like I havent already got shares in the place cos im in there that often and on first name terms with most of them lol)
Sorry to snip but this happened to me today. I used my double points coupon on Friday for my 3rd meal but today it didn't even register on the receipt that I'd bought 1 meal.
Later in the afternoon I went back to Boots (Like you do!) and the receipt I got then didn't show I'd bought any meal deals.
I still ahve Friday's receipt and also todays and will keep my next one and take them all in when I go to collect my 6th.
Strange though how this has happened.Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time0 -
Bellydancer wrote: »Do watch out when buying the No7 Stay Perfect lip lacquers. They are currently at half price, £4.75, but the replacements are now out and they go through at full price £9.50.
The colour names are the same, but with the new ones both ends are coloured (different shades), there isn't a clear end. I spotted some like this in Sugar Mauve on the shelf with the £4.75 ones, and asked the SA about them. She price-checked them and found them to be full price, so removed them from the display. In other branches, this may not have been spotted, so you will end up paying more than you thought if you pick one of these up.
Thanks for the info Bellydancer.
I really like the old No7 Lip Laquers with the clear gloss at one end,
I haven't seen the new style ones yet, so will look out for them.
I may have to stockpile a few of the older ones though as they are really nice and stay put for ages.0 -
NC bags are scanning at £4xx at Maidenhead branch, gutted as wanted a set for DD who, at the grand age of nearly 12, has nearly as much makeup as me (mostly thanks to this thread ) but got her a daisy wash bag reduced to £2 which she's really pleased with
Going to try the magic 3 at Slough tomorrow as no peel at maidenhead either
and big thumbs up to the op on th mini mode voucher + sale stuff, got little DD £50 odd of clothes for £16 :money:0 -

Am just about to set off on M4 so won't be able to reply if anyone has any questions. Sorry! Will try to log on again tomorrow.
Happy Easter!

I didn't get these 3 through at the normal till in the same store before as I posted, but they did went through on the SS till, does this mean that the normal tills and SS tills don't have the same system?
Anyway, I was shaking all the way through when using the SS till, to make it worse, the line lift I picked up was a empty box, I was shaking when I gave it back to the SA who was watching the SS tills, he said that someone must steal it. I am sure that the shaking made it looked like I did empty the box/steal the tube myself as I couldn't stop shaking while using the vouchers, however, I did manage them all and even brave enough to ask the replacement of the line lift.0 -
Morning all. Gee, its quiet, I guess everyone is already out and about?!
Anyway, just wanted to remind you all that the ACM vouchers expire today, so if you are like me, and have a wad printed out, today is your last chance to use them

hi thank you for this, I can confirm now that the SS tills in Kingston Upon Thames did work for Magic 3. I finally tested it again on last Saturday--sorry I didn't manage to post it earlier as I was away.

Hi Iris - glad you managed to get your deal through eventually - shakes and all!!!! Nobody knows the logic behind the Boots tills.
I presented a P & P Serum, Line Lift and Highlights at Lakeside, at the beginning of The Glitch, at a manned till (no ss ones there), produced the Line Lift & Highlights vouchers, but the SA insisted I had to pay over £16.
She scribbled all over them, and called the No 7 assistant, who said they couldn't put more than one voucher through. So I said I'd leave it, but could she write on them that I'd changed my mind about the purchase.
I then presented the identical items and vouchers yesterday at Sedley Place, at the No 7 counter, everything in exactly the same order, and it all went through, without any problem! :T I paid £6.15!
Let's hope the next glitch goes through beautifully for you and you don't have to get The Tremors as well!
