Did my 1st bootsing today at Serpentine green Peterborough. Got the Nivea trio lip gloss at £1.23 342. They were priced at £4.89 so I had them price checked first. They were hanging around in the hair conditioner section. Still 6 or so left.
Also got a Max Factor Facefinity compact for £3 instead of £10.78 ans Nailfinitity for £2 instead of £5.38 and Lipfinity in the old packaging for £3.
Lots of Max Factor and L'oreal on a reduced stand facing the perfume section.

Thought about using a pooey because of the Max Factor but chickened out- glad I did because the SA gave me a really filthy look when she asked for the £10.46.

    I got a pooey.

Well done on a good Bootsing! :T

And never be afraid to ask if you can use a voucher :D I find a wide-eyed innocent look and a dig in your purse helps. "Oh, I just found this voucher, can you see if it goes through please" works wonders!!

Right, back OT, Boots at Edinburgh Gyle was its usual lunchtime madness. I had a quick look at the clearance shelf and they still have Elizabeth Arden reduced and this time they had added loads of shampoos for 44p - I only noticed Herbal Essences tbh as that's my brand. I didn't buy any though as they weren't the one I use (Boo!) They also had High School Musical 3 digital photo keychains for £4.99 which I thought was quite a good price, but know nothing about those sorts of gadgets so couldn't really say!

Quick visit to B's so could use my last Elle voucher but no so lucky as the Body Lotion was out of stock... :( Have to pop in again 2moro to check as I think the offer of 1/3 off EM finishes 2moro(?)... Nonetheless was able to find the following:

    No17 Wipes reduced @ 99p * 3 = £2.97
    No17 Nail Recovery Free
    No17 Glitter top coat * 2 Free
Max Factor Puff Powder 84p (used the £2 cosmetic voucher + £2 baby mailing voucher)
    Max Factor GWP @ 0.00

Total to pay £3.81 (couldn't b asked to spend 2 £5 for the voucher, lol!)

Also Worthing had Sally Hansen Miracle Growth (blue bottle) for about £2.24 (sorry cannot remember exact price) think these are usually about £8.75. Sally Hansen Lip Inflation Plumping Treatments £1.49. These were all hanging on strips. I got the last 3 nivea lipglosses, but worth asking may still have some out back. Nat. Collection bags were marked at £4.89 but did not check at till so may come up as £1.23.
Not much else just odd pairs of tights and nail varnish for 99 p - Maybelline.

I tried without succes for glyco peel voucher, no luck. Yesterday last chance as cannot get to Boots before Wednesday. So I used my line voucher and powder voucher and got some body lotion and other bits think it was about £8 must have thrown receipt, DH was rushing me said we had not come to the coast to spend the day in Boots.

The S/As there were all really lovely and friendly, typical if have handful of vouchers ready for glitch its all the old dragon S/As

  • Hi everyone!
Did my first bit of Bootsing today in Oxford.
    I got:
17 Wipes + free nail polish (there were only about 1/2 the colours on the shelf)

Bojouris tweezers with the £2 voucher (there were no sharpeners or nail files :( )

No 7 Highlighter powder (only a couple left)
    No 7 Metallic Eyeliner
    No 7 Nail Varnish
All for £6.90 with the 342 and free higlighter voucher

I was a bit nervous when I got to the till and the SA gave me a really funny look when I gave her the higlighter voucher. She looked suprised when it went through!

Thanks for pointing all these great buys!! (I got lots more stuff and still saved more than i spent!!)
