Without having the glyco vouchers but still wishing to take advantage of the line lift vouchers, you will have to purchase an item from the No7 skincare range that costs at least £15. But as the powder would be free on the 3 for 2, £10 would be deducted from your subtotal, therefor your minimum outlay per transaction would work out at £5 for 3 items.

Can anyone please recommend any skincare item around the £15 to purchase as I need to keep my spend to the minimum Thank you

These are all of the products which would enable you to qualify for the free Line Lift without the use of the Glyco Voucher- and when using a Highlights Voucher with it, you can deduct £10 from the cost of the item ;)

    Hi Mrs T!

Yes, this would all apply to you too :)

You should try to scan the Line Lift first, although I'm not sure that it's vital tbh. Just make sure to hand over the line lift voucher first though, as £10 will be deducted from your chosen skincare item by using the highlights voucher (as HL is free on 342)- and the till may not register that £15 had 'originally' been spent on the extra item (which is where the dreaded beep would appear.)

As long as the linelift voucher goes through before your highlights one, you won't have any problems! I hope this makes sense to you hun, but if not- send me a PM and I can explain it clearly in more detail ;)

This is the only one I can find but it's a year old
    http://www.pat-testing.info/recallnotice/LeeStaffordHairStraighteners.htm

Boots are still selling the Box of Tricks online and instore, presumably with modified straighteners and there is no recall notice on the website so presumably this applies to an old product

Thanks G_L for checking this out. It never occured to me that it may have been an old notice (no idea how long they have to be displayed for). It's just the name jumped out at me & i know alot of folks got the set when it was reduced to £17.99 so thought i'd better mention it IYSWIM.

Taunton Boots have now removed their clearance racks, could not see them anywhere else in the store.

A few other bargains in the store, travel vanity case which was £4.50, and also noticed a travel sized body milk priced 45p alongside the other travel toiletries. They had lots of them, pink in colour and in big writing on the front, it said not to be drunk. (sorry the rest of the writing was really small and didn't have my glasses).

No Nivea lip glosses, looked in every aisle for them.

they did have lots of illuminating powders, but no vouchers for me in the acm.

    :hello: Hi my lovelies!

Just wanted to add that I had noticed the product recall for the Box of Tricks too, when I looked at the sign- it stated at the bottom that it was just sets which had been purchased before Christmas. In short, it was a dodgy batch which rendered the straightners dangerous as there was a wire fault which could cause the item to catch fire

For those bought after Christmas, they should all be fine, but those bought prior to Christmas, or received as a Christmas gift- I would suggest you bring them back pronto, just to be on the safe side!

Likewise C, thanks for elaborating above.:T

I've noticed the clearance shelves have disappeared in 2 medium-sized Boots in a v. large town nearby. I asked where they'd gone and SA said 'Oh we needed the space'. Anyone else had their's disappear recently ?
