Yay! I finally got the magic 3!

Went to the Arnison Centre in Durham on my way home, just on the offchance, and they had loads of highlighter (although only in Dandy Pink, which was fortunately the one I wanted), a few line lifts, and one solitary glycolic peel on the shelf! It did look like someone had been contemplating the glitch, as there was a line lift next to the glycolic peel on the shelf, although I switched that for another one as the box was a bit manky.

Anyway, I bought:
line lift - free
glycolic peel - 8.80
highlights powder - free
Veet wax strips x2 - 17.62
loreal tricolour eyeshadow pallette - 4.84
scholl giftpack - reduced to 2.00
paracetamol and codeine - 99p with HC discount
Chocolate cake - reduced to 10p as it's out of date after today.

All in all, by the time the extra £10 came off as a combination of using the highlights voucher and getting it free on 342 anyway, plus using pooey for loreal, I paid £22.35, although I used a £10 voucher from online surveys I'd done, so actually only spent £12.35 in realy money. Not bad for a wimp like me who's usually too scared to try glitches!



NB: there was a clearance shelf at the entrance which had a few bits & bobs on it - various No7 foundations for £7.xx, dayglo couloured false lashes (really wild clolurs, glow-in-the dark yellow, green, etc!) for £2.xx, spring eye pallettes for £5.xx plus various other bits and bobs, but nothing that took my fancy.

But i would love to have a tournament, as i see it , its win win for me, loose and i get to see you in the flesh when i deliver my boots goodies and same vice versa:D. Back to bootsing, tiny 1st glitch, pooeys do work on one of the boujoirs minis its the 3d effect menthol lipgloss mobile phone charm (not the one in the white bottle but the aqua one). You can either buy them singley and pay £1.4x after pooey , but this limits you to just getting the one flavour. But minis are 2 4 £5 at mo so if you have at least one of the minis as the menthol one you can get additional flavours etc and the till still takes the £2 of the menthol one so you get two items for £3 ie £1.50 each, couple of pence more than getting them singly but more flavours and you get two items when you use the instore offer. They are lovely by the way:D. Hth someone. If anyone has already posted this sorry and do let me know so i can thank you and edit my post.

Hi everyone
Hope you have all had a good bootsing day inspite of new bargains and glitches being a bit thin on the ground at the moment.

Today I found the NC trio of bags at £1.23 - got three, left three on shelf.Also the trio of Nivea lip glosses for £1.23 which are also on 342 so got three of those too.The bionsen deos were still full price - annoying as they are the only ones I use.I have got the full set of oreal trio pallette colours and have got two pooeys left.\Is it worth keeping them till the new vouchers come out next week as they will still have a week to run then and could possibly combine them?

The items were all marked on sels not on clearance.Thanks to OPs = think it was Passion8,and Sally06 sorry if I am mistaken xxxxx

I have read thru this thread but I still don't get the magic 3 thing!
I have 2 vouchers, highlights & line lift, do I need another for the peel?
I saw broclos post about which order to scan items/vouchers in but still don't get it! DOH I am blonde!!

I only want these if they are free as I'm a bit broke at the moment. I do use the no7 wipes so could I get them with the line lift and highlites? If so how much will thst cost me?

Please advise me lovelies!!!

Ohh, sounds interesting. Looks like we have got lots of anxious cooks here on MSE. I would love to see how everyone's plates turn out compared to what I'm able to cook up

Doh, are the nivea glosses 342?? I bought 2 today as I didnt realise, normally the SAs tell you if you miss out on a 342 offer - mine didnt

You do need a 3rd voucher to get the "Magic3" to work, unfortunately! I don't have the peel one, either & I tried (but failed) to use the "Magic 2" earlier this week - for the glitch to work, the 3rd item needs to be over the cost of the £15 (I think!! I'm sure thats what someone said to me!) The till takes off the cost of the cheapest item in the 3-4-2 (the highlights @ £10) & still gives you the Linelift free (as your spend is over £15) but then also deducts £10 for the cost of the Highlights off the last item too (this is the glitch!) Hope this makes sense (& works for you!)

Sarnd- sorry you missed out on the Nivea 3-4-2, its been posted on here a few times this last week. Most people haven't found them showing as reduced on the SEL (mine were still showing as full-price but went thru at £1.23 each, so £2.46 for 3!!) or are struggling to find them (they are on cardboard strips hanging off the shelf-edges so can be anywhere in store! I think from memory, mine were in the haircare aisle! Certainly not near the lipcare, if that helps anyone not to contain their search too closely to the lipcare aisle!!)

Slightly OT, but not entirely, was in Vegas for my B'day last week & found a Boots counter in the two big CVS stores there, so DH took a pic of me looking at the shelves (as he knows all about my glitches & wombling!) & thought it hilarious that I could still track down a Boots when I was 1000's of miles away! lol!! I didn't buy anything, though, it was much dearer than here, with the carp exchange rate!! I'd even taken a half-empty (2nd) suitcase, just incase!!!

Goodness this "magic 3" has been around a while now but today seems to be the day for "the magic 3 confuse me"

I've just done a search for "magic 3" and on the results 7 of the posts are about the "magic 3" :rolleyes:
