Nothing to report on clearance, same old same old but the no7 "last chance stand" had some rainbow eyeshadow palettes for £5 which I thought were quite pretty, and also the usual spring palettes, still at £5.38

Hi everyone, I had 5 minutes spare in town today so I went to Boots for the first time in about 2 weeks. I wanted to use up my magic 3 no7 vouchers but it wasn't to be!

I found all 3 products and needed to get a little outfit for a friend who's just had a baby. The SS tills weren't very busy so I thought I'd brave the SA's in the baby department upstairs. I found a little outfit for £10 and took the lot to the till. The SA put my 3 vouchers through (line lift, then highlights powder, then glyco peel) with a bit of coaxing, none of them beeped and the total came down to about £8.60 I think. :T

Well the SA started scratching her head then cos the outfit on its own was meant to be £10! She ended up asking the SA next to her if there was some kind of discount on Mini Mode that made the price lower. Then the SA on the next side came over, and then a suit joined in!!! :o I was dying of embarrassment. They kept saying 'But how can it be that price?' They opened the till to get my vouchers back and then started scrutinising them. I was getting redder and redder by this point.

The SA said she'd have to put the outfit through on its own and take me to the No7 till to sort out the rest :eek:. Obviously that would not work in my favour so I asked if I could just have my vouchers back to try when I had more time. This was a no-no as the barcode had now been scribbled through so I ended up leaving them all there and just paying for the outfit. I didn't even use my Mini Mode vouchers cos I thought I'd be getting such a good deal on the No7! So close.....

On a brighter note, the ACM today gave me 2 more of the 3 vouchers and my sister is sending me the third so SS tills here I come!!! I just hope I don't get stopped in my tracks next time. This Bootsing ain't for the faint-hearted!

Popkins, wow fantastic bargain, which store did you get it from? I have only seen them full price on the SEL in most of the surrey stores I have been to! :rolleyes:

I got these and they are great for your hols, etc,
for stashing away any goodies that you need whilst away.
I was giving them as a gift but ( I am a very naughty teddy)
decided that I could make very good use of them.
The set now comes in a stripe design, so this fruity set has been reduced.
I think they are great value. Go get em ladies.

I bought those NC bags yesterday at £2.50 - didn't take em home, stashed em in my desk as had so much stuff to take home anyway.
Saw them today @ £1.25, RAN back to w*rk and took em back and got £1.25 refund (was collecting a .com order too so SA was quite happy to "swap" it for my yoggie and chocolate at the same time)

I do chance my arm sometimes...

OT S*perdr*g are doing bring in your old skincare stuff and get 10% off new with a voucher, SA said it works even on BOGOF and special offer prices - didn't get too much of a chance to looksee properly as the shop was about to shut or something equally unreasonable!

Back to Boots! Loads of No7 on clearance AND at 342. The black/gold "purse" with a brush is £2, oodles of foundation @ £3.xx, hair spritz £2, lip/eye shimmer £2 etc etc. Also reduced condoms, children's toothbrushes, false eyelashes and a solitary NC vanity case.

when to 3 stores today
kingsheath didnt have much except in the deodrant section.
-boots expert roll ons and sticks were around 60p
-right guard sprays 250ml were 60p
-and there were some other sprays that were 70p.

bullring didnt have anything
but i bought a boots floral cosmetc purse for £1.25 on the sel. its £2 on the clearance stand in the boots in the high street. i took the last one
kingsheath had them aswell but the shelves were empty

had reduced anti-perspirant sprays, boots brand for 79p
reduced sanex for £1.25
and some mitchum sprays
they had the same stuff on the clearance stands as yesterday but less. they havent added anything to it.

oh and if anyone wanted those boots floral berry bags(not the cosmetic ones the bigger ones) they've gone down from £4 to £3, and i think some of the others have gone down in price aswell. the halfprice easter eggs are next to them

has anyone seen any of the set of 3 natural collection bags and the nive lip set things in any boots in birmingham?

I totally agree JT. I store all my smaller items in the biggest bag. I keep all my fabby free sample sachets in the tiny one. I haven't found a use for the middly one yet but I am sure I will.

I do hope I can find some more at the new lower price, thanks for posting about the reductions :T
