    Hi Donella & EMJ2,

Welcome to the Bootsing thread :)
As far as I'm aware the only clearance store is in Beckton- I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong!
The bargains there seem to be very hit and miss- some days people have found lots of lovely bargains, yet on other days there has been very little- so if you are after something specific then it may be worth giving them a call before you make a special journey to see if they have got in stock at present.

    HTH.

ETA: Have just googled it for you :)

    Hi Everyone,

I've not been around in ages as I am trying to be good, although I admit I've had to grab a quick glance from time to time at work (getting withdrawals)

Went into Big Belfast store this morning and got these Sanex deodorants
a reduced SEL said £1.03 but it scanned at 54p and BOGOF!
Then I got 6 of these Nivea for men deodorants
They were on clearance for 80p but scanned at 53p too.

Also grabbed the last 17 makeup wipes for 99p and a free varnish.

    Very happy me!:j

Clearance upstairs also has lots of other boots own brand deodorants for 40p, some mad coloured posh make-up, tights all in small/medium and a few other battered bits and bobs. Did notice that flowery bag that peeps were chatting about but I didn't bother as the house is coming down with stuff like that.

Now for a few questions if you don't mind....:D
Can I ask someone for a link to the other threads please?

Also has anyone seen any good offers to use the pooey on from the other make-up ranges? I've got enough nail varnish remover / accessories / eye-liner and eyeshadow to last a few years now. I've got two pooeys left. any ideas?

Last one - Has anyone a pic or a link to the Max Factor GWP that is going through free? I seen the sparlkly black one that I'm sure was around a few months ago. Wasn't sure if this was the free one or not, and too chicken to try!!:o

I popped into boots yesterday as part of a 5 hour long shopping trip (Boy are my feet paying for that now!) and found Boots Expert mens sensitive shave oil reduced to 45p each - looked in the shaving section too and it looks like it may have been discontinued at least in the Stevenage store.

Anyway's I bought 3 bottles, some reduced disposable razors and the boots magazine and it only came to £1.05. Apparently a 3 for 2 kicked in on the shave oil knocked 45p off my already tiny total. Rather pleased at that :D

So watch out for discounted Boots Expert shave oil as you may even be able to get it on 3 for 2.

Hi Folks :wave:I have just been browsing Boots, as you do.

For anyone who is unsure what is the best skincare for your age group, Boots have now grouped their skincare products by age as well as product name, offer etc.

    Here are some links:-

    Teens

    Age 20+

    Age 30+

    Age 50+

I don't know how 'scientific' it is, or if its gimmicy.;)

But it may be a useful guideline for anyone who wants to try a new product, or is buying skincare as a gift for someone else. Hth

Thanks Polls, does this mean 40+ are a lost cause?

    Hi all,

Bad shop for me - only a L'Oreal trio with my poohey. I have the Magic 3 but could only see the highlighter powder on the shelves - can anyone link me to what the packaging looks like for the other two as I might have just been a bit silly :D

I didn't have a lot of time to look through the clearance shelves as I was on lunch, but they had:
    • Elizabeth Arden Green Tea stuff reduced to about £7
    • Face cream £12
    • High School Musical and Hannah Montana things for £9.99 (Looked like they might be digital photo keyrings or something similar)
    • Tights
    • 17 make up
    HTH!
