Hi was wondering if anybody had seen the Balm balm rose face balm reduced in the Birmingham area at all pls. I have quite dry skin and have heard this is really good, so would appreciate a heads up. Tia

I'm not in Birmingham but when I paid for my washbag today (I got another one) there was a small displaty of these on the till that I paid at. No price on them and not showing as reduced or clearance, just a display of them, I asked the SA to check and they were £1.50.

just been answerwd in the post above mine. Looks like they are on the tills in more than one store.
  • The £5 off worked with the highlighter voucher and the 342 for me - maybe because i bought 3 cosmetics? (Highlighter, mascara and eyeshadow - totaly to pay £5.30)

Possibly that is going to be the best way :)

That makes sense & confirms my earlier post. I'm assuming that the eyeshadow was the cheapest of the 3 items (therefore free on 3-4-2) then the Highlights voucher would kick in, leaving the last item as the Mascara - I'm guessing this was £10.30, so the condition of spending £10 on cosmetics was met, therefore reducing the bill by £5 to £5.30??

ETA: Thinking this through, it should be possible to buy skincare in the 3-4-2 & still use the £5 voucher along with the highlighter voucher, as long as the skincare is the least expensive item of the 3. It would then be automatically free & the same would apply as the above post - but the cosmetic item (other than the highlighter) needs to be £10 or more.

    yes thats correct ;)

    Mascara - £10.30
Highlighter - £10 (Free with voucher)
    Eyeshadow - £6.90 (Kicked in as 342)

I handed over the highlighter voucher 1st, leaving the till reading £10.30, thn told the SA 'I'm just being cheeky now!' as I handed over the £5 off. She looked amazed when they both scanned :rotfl:

I just tried a little of the Balm Balm rose face balm. It has a very strong smell! I've heard others say that it is really good. I have very dry flaky skin on my face (which I control well but still get the odd dry patch so thought I would try it) I think I will have to put it on a night though because it really really has a strong smell!

It does have a strong smell - but I quite like it :D. It definitely worked for me on my patch of dry skin on my cheek, and within 48 hours it was completely gone.

I've checked my receipt again and the £5 wasnt actually deducted from my bill either! Can't understand why as the highlights powder is classed as cosmetics surely? and i put the £5 voucher through before the free highlights powder.

am quite tempted to take it all back!

Oh no! so it didn't work for you either?:confused:I have a feeling you have to actually spend £10 for this voucher to work - and £5 after the voucher is scanned. The voucher probably works in the same way as the £5 off WYS £20 that was around not long ago - when you had to actually spend £20 for the voucher to work:rolleyes:

I think it went wrong for me, because the eye liner was only £9 and the highlighter doesn't count towards the £10 spend, because the ACM voucher for free highlighter cancels out the £5 off ACM voucher. And the peel is not classed as cosmetics (although it says on the ACM voucher it is in cosmetics?) I hope that makes sense?

Picked up 3 of the reduced Berry Bags today and the SA's were amazed at the price, as they scanned at just 32p each.
The No7 SA's all ran off to check the shelf in case there were any more of the Berry bags at that price.
I have never seen an SA move so fast.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
They are nice little bags and will make cute little gifts when filled with goodies. Make sure you all look out for them. :)

Anyone know when the Boots Chat thread will re appear? :)

Hi guys, obsessive compulsie me has been through all the xamples of the 342-vouchers scenario and as a previous poster pointed out, the most successful were those with a cosmetics item priced £10+ before the vouchers came off.

    The exeption t this was:

    diane 1975
    shop1
    no7 glyco peel 17.60
    no7 highlights 10.00
    no7 age defense cleanser 8.50 free 342
    - 10.00 highlights
    - 8.80 - glyco
    - 5.00 save £5
Total to pay £3.80 32 pts and got a new skincare voucher

    any ideas?!
