Gumtree Scam

Hi Guys,

If you have ever put an ad on gumtree for a laptop / mobile phone / ipod you will no doubt have had an e-mail from some Nigerian conman wanting to pay you with paypal.

Well yesterday I had a person from the UK try this scam on me, I went along with it and have just been sent a fake paypal receipt. The address is in the UK. How do I go about reporting this to the UK authorities as i'm sure some people will be duped (there always is as these guys send out 1000s of e-mails)

    Also try the internet service provider from the email, they usually have departments dealing with fraudsters and spammers.
