Wow you are all so fab with the huge amount of things you make.......the lemon cakes sound delicious Ollie and what are melting moments????
Lemon Drizzle Cake recipe is: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=5991605&postcount=6
The fairy cakes are bog-standard fairy cakes with icing made with lemon juice instead of water and a couple of those jelly orange and lemon slices placed on the top.
Melting Moments recipe on this site:
http://www.be-ro.com/f_insp.htm
Click on the link, then click on 'List of All Recipes' on the right had side of the screen.
That gives you an alphabetical list of all the recipes they have on there. Melting Moments are 11th down on the right hand side of the list.
I have also used crushed cornflakes to roll them in before baking.
Hope you enjoy them.
Many thanks for the ideas for pasta salads :T - getting ready to put a pan of pasta on now.

I'm making up lots of jars of rhubarb jam to give to people- I know it's not strictly Easter-y, but the rhubarb looks great at the moment, and I don't want to wait til Autumn to get the preserving pan out again!0

I'm making some banana teabread (from the Be-Ro book) and some Spice buns (from a very old Be-Ro book). I'd be baking more, but still limited to what I can eat after having wisdom teeth out.Grocery budget in 2023 £2279.18/£2700Grocery budget in 2022 £2304.76/£2400Grocery budget in 2021 £2107.86/£2200Grocery budget in 2020 £2193.02/£2160Saving for Christmas 2023 #15 £ 90/ £3650

I found little chunks of it added to my mince pies at Christmas delicious.
Do you make your own marzipan Penny?0 -

I do at Christmas, for 2 reasons:- my hens' eggs give a deep yellow colour which I find pleasing
- I like a more pronounced almond flavour than in bought marzipan
I use Delia's recipe for marzipan, and like it. It has egg yolks, and the whites go into the Christmas cake icing
