yes it did several but cant remember them all, but see below:-
Summary o
Congratulations, you are in a broadband enabled area.
However, there is another service on your phone line (e.g. ADSL, LLU, DACS, etc) that would prevent you from ordering a new ADSL connection.
The following services are available in your location:
BT Wholesale ADSL
BT Wholesale ADSL Max
BT Wholesale WBC (21CN)
BT Wholesale SDSL
AOL LLU
Bulldog LLU
TalkTalk (CPW) LLU
Sky Broadband / Easynet LLU
Pipex LLU
Tiscali LLU
Orange LLU (Formerly Wanadoo)
Since posting I have spoken with Primus and they said within 24hrs I wil have a better speed, and they will ring back tomorrow to confirm. Primus was not one of operators though.0 -
I'd do this speedtest: http://www.thinkbroadband.com/speedtest.html
Make a note now, then make a note tomorrow - to check if you've actually got more speed
If not, consider moving to a LLU supplier for an 8mb connection. I live over a mile from my exchange and i get 6.3 mb/s according to that speedtest0 -
I'm not sure Frankie has Java installed, as the BT speedtest failed before, requiring the plug-in.Dave. :wave:0
