Has Anyone Ever Dealt With Handelsbanken

I've know about this bank for a while, but only recently noticed they had a branch near me.

Their website isn't too clear, so does anyone know: is this a bank where you have to be super rich to have an account with them and pay them for this? Or is it open for anyone?

Thanks.

Perhaps it's a bank for classical composers only? Do they play the Water Music or excerpts from the Messiah while you wait in the queue?

You'll find details of their 'passport' deposit protection scheme HERE.
  • Just had a look at http://www.handelsbanken.co.uk/ and the focus on personal relationships suggests that they are aiming at, shall we say, the upper end of the market.

Why not ask them? And then post the result for all of us to read and wonder.

I don't think Handel was super-rich, and if it was good enough for him it was certainly good enough for me.

I have asked them, but over Easter, I don't think they're working to answer it. (They should be if they're a good bank as they claim to be)

No minimum salary but does vary between branches. If you live in the Leeds area you will have to use the Leeds branch as appose to somewhere else.
