Samsung R710 laptop.

Can anyone advise where the internal bluetooth module is found on a Samsung R710 laptop.
I have located the wireless card but not the bluetooth module.

It is not currently fitted to my laptop, I just want the location of where it would go.

i.e: Is it located under the keyboard etc.

Nobody have any ideas ?

Reason for this is that I have just been sent a bluetooth module, but it will not fit where the supplier said it would.
It is not a mini-pci card, but has a small white connector on the end.

I know some laptop have the bluetooth device hidden well away inside.

Supplier advised R710 was mini-pci, but it obviously is not.

Cannot seem to locate any board diagrams anywhere either.

What supplier did you get it from I would send it back to them as they have obviously sent the wrong item you might be better off just getting one of those tiny usb bluetooth devices for this laptop.

It came from an authorised Samsung repair / parts centre so I would have thought that they would have sent the correct part out after finding it on their system.

I was wondering if the sales chap assumed that it was a slot in mini-pci card when infact it is not, and therefore gave me duff info on where it fits.

It is possible that it fits under the section just above the keyboard, but I don't want to pull it al apart without confirmation if possible.

It could be the wrong part as you say, I will give them a call on Tuesday if I get no joy.

** Already have a usb device, just wanted to put it internal.
