Help with ebay/paypal dispute

I sold quite an expensive item on ebay last week, which the buyer didn't pay for until Sunday.

I decided to send it through DHL, as it was quite large & heavy- worked out to be th cheapest way to send. (sent 24-48 hour service)

I emailed buyer tracking number after item was collected on Wednesday (08/04/09) early pm... Buyer has opened a "Not Received Dispute" with PayPal this evening (09/04/09)- a little unfair I felt, as it had only just been over 24 hours!

I checked the tracking record, which actually states that it was delivered & signed for by someone with the same name as the postal address just after 11:00am on 09/04/09

I have checked the users feedback on ebay, which is 100%- he buys and sells stuff quite a lot by the looks of it.

My concern here is that PayPal is going to refund the money to the buyer- even though I have proof of sending & full tracking info- including the same name on the delivery address as on the signed for details. Is there anything else I can do to prove that this ha been sent & signed for, so I don't loose my money?

No reason why Paypal would do this, with proof of delivery they would find in your favour.
From what you have said about the buyer, is it possible they have filed this dispute in error and it was meant for someone else?(this has happened to me in the past). Worth contacting them (politely) to check.

    Panic over!
Once user realised I had proof of postage & proof of signature, they were very quick in closing the dispute.....
No communication with me though, and no appology!

its so bad when this happens, just shows how untrustworthy some ebayers are

also they wouldnt have any negatives if they had done this befoer as a seller cant leave neg to warn others, like you could have done before the changes.

At the end of the day the transaction is now over and you have your money and the buyer their item
