Hi ,
After being poorly advised by financial advisors in the past , how do you regain confidence in any advice given now .
Anyone else had similar experiences or am i the only sceptic out there ?

Get a new advisor, preferably one recommended by somebody you know. Make sure they are an IFA, not tied (i.e. not working for a bank). Ask us if you are doubtful about anything they tell you before signing.0

What type of adviser?how do you regain confidence in any advice given now
Makes sure its an IFA and not an FA and make sure the adviser service you want is offered (e.g. transaction, planning or servicing etc).Anyone else had similar experiences or am i the only sceptic out there ?
