Anyway, that would be the appropriate rate for this sort of accommodation.
This is a bit of an anomaly - if someone 25 or over lives in a shared house with two rooms that are only for their use, they get the one bed rate. If they only have their bedroom for their sole use, they are only entitled to the shared rate.Gone ... or have I?0 -

The OP doesn't mention that they have access to two rooms for their exclusive use. The op states that there are two bedrooms in the property and that she has found a room to rent in a local property.
Also just to clarify when you would get the one bedroom rate in a shared property the customer would have to have exclusive use of two rooms or exclusive use of one room, bathroom and toilet, and kitchen or facilties for cooking. Basically a bedsit - to me from what the OP has stated she does not meet this criteria therefore will be entitled to the shared accommodation rate.:j0 -

Where did I say that they did? Had you bothered to read my post properly, you will see that I was responding to ONW's question as to why they did not appear to qualify for the one bed rate.Gone ... or have I?0 -
I've just realised that I've muddied the waters by misunderstanding h-c's comment "Remember though that you will be resticted yo the shared room rate of LHA."
I thought that s/he meant that the poster would be restricted but can see now that it was meant for this particular accommodation. Sorry!0
