    The reason they give the money termly because student accommodation and fees (the largest student costs) are usually paid termly.

    Mines due on the 20th too.

    I know they why they can't and never will but I'd prefer them to give it to me as one lump sum.

    mine is also due on the 20th tho my last pay was in my bank the friday instead of the monday.. so you never know you could get it earlier..

    20th here as well, its done on your term dates so I doubt you'd get it much earlier.

    I really hate the timing of these loan payments, especially the 2nd and third payment.

    Both should be moved forward 1 month.

    That makes sense in the first year(s) of university, but generally students move out of university accommodation after their first year.

    But I suppose it dramatically reduces their costs doing it in 3 installments than a higher number!

    This is my last year with a loan, but I agree, the last term is usually so short!
  • I do wonder why you have more money for the third installment when it's the shortest semester!
