I often pick up old mobiles at car boots for between 10p - 75p and pop them in the recycling bags. I just ask at customer services.
I think there is a limit per card however (I use my husbands card and my fathers too)

    hi ,

does it matter how old the phones are or whether they are broken etc ?

ive started doing the recycling printer cartridges and would like to start doing the phones too

    :)

If the phone switches on you get 300 points, if not it's only 50 points. You just need to fill in details on the envelope and the points are usually credited quite quickly (took mine just over a week)

  • Hi

Does anyone know whether MFI will be selling sofa's again any time soon - none showing on their website at present.

    Thanks
No, I don't think so. MFI have axed all of their least profitable lines in a desperate bid to save profits. They are heading towards a merger/takeover with another DIY firm, it isn't all final yet but the likely firms are focus DIY and another failing business I can't remember the name of at the moment. MFI-RIP very soon, and I'm worried about my vouchers. Speak to tesco/ mfi cs- see if you can get any more sense out of them than I could. CS told me MFI would definitely still be on the deals partner list early next year, but their financial reports say otherwise.
Clear as mud- but no sofas at the mo I know that. Though down 'ere in Devon they're clearing out old stock (of sofas) at a discounted rate- aint that cheap but cheaper than norm...

lleck, there's a mobile phone recycling envelope inside the current edition of the Tesco Magazine (which is free - you should be able to pick up a copy of it in your branch). According to the T&Cs on the envelope, the offer's still valid til the end of the year.
  • Hi,

I managed to buy a PS2 for £114.91 yesterday morning. They were advertised at £99.97. I took it to customer services and was told that that offer had ended (the girl was gone for about 15 minutes). I was told I could have my money back, or keep the PS2 which I had paid £114 for.

I had asked the price, and new it was a misprice, so yes I was after a 'free PS2'. I couldn't stay and agrue the point as I had to get to work, so I got my money back. I've been on the phone to the main CS number, and was told that I could buy one at £99, but couldn't have an R&R, as I knew the price, bcause I asked (there is no self-scanner in this store). Any comments / advice. Should I just say fair play, I was after a free PS2 anyway? Not very impressed with the way CS treat customers, i've only ever done one R&R before and my family must spend £500 per month in store !

    Comments please.........
  • Can anyone tell me if tesco clubcard vouchers transferred into airmiles are transferrable? I have some I wanted to give to my friend so she can buy her flight with them?

    Thanks.
