I know I'm a bit thick at this time in the morning but does that mean if you get a new Tesco Clubcard Credit Card ALL you get is 1 extra point for every £4 you spend than if you pay cash?

    Copied from tesco.com

5 points for every £4 you spend at Tesco or Tesco.com and 1 point for every £4 you spend everywhere else!

That says to me you get 1 point for every £4 you spend anywhere.

You get 5 points in Tesco for a £4 spend because you get your 4 points for the £4 spend as per normal Tesco clubcard spending + the extra point for spending £4.

I want to use my clubcard vouchers against airport parking. The quote for parking is £43. I phoned the clubcard helpline and asked how much in vouchers do i need to send. I was told £43/4 ie £10.75 but someone has told me that the deals token are only in £5 mutiples so does that mean i have to send £10 and pay the £3 difference. It is confusing me or am i being a bit thick.

    Thanks

In my experience, the vouchers have come in £0.50, £1.00, £5.00 and £10.00 denominations.

Also, if you have to send say £40 for a £39 deal, they recredit your points account with the excess. A bit like getting change... just three months in arrears.

    .
so the deals tokens they send you for your clubcard vouchers come in similar denominations as the vouchers. I understand that if i send £11 and the value i want is £10.75 they will credit the 25p.

I was planning to buy 2 Alton Towers tickets via there deals online, I thought they would automatically deduct the points spent (like netcar) but I've just realised (I think) that I have to wait for them to send them via the post then I can log on online and enter the code on the vouchers to redeem them?

Yes, you need to wait for the Clubcard vouchers to arrive in the post before you can exchange them for Deals tokens.

You can order online with the codes on the CC vouchers.

    CLUBCARD DEALS USERS!!!

I read at the beginning of this thread that someone had a coupon which let them get 500 points to introduce someone to deals, and they got 500 too. Does anyone have one of these? Please send me a message or something.

I am going to order deals vouchers for the first time when the next lot of vouchers comes through.

but will they do you a £43 deal token?

we've been to drayton manor park today using deal tokens that come in £10 tokens and we spent £58.85 so it was a choice of giving them £60 in tokens, or giving them £50 in deals and paying the extra £8.85. we gave 6 tokens and got no change. so you might find you either pay them £40 in deal tokens and pay the extra £3, or give them £45 in deal tokens and don't get any change.
