i have vocuhers in various denominations, which are getting close to their expiry date (some may, august etc). we were hoping to use them towards a holiday, but as we'll only have about £40 worth by the time the latest ones arrive, we dont see much point cashing them in at the mo (£40 would give us £140 in deals, and minimum spend for a holiday is normally £500).
the other option is to change them for hotel deals.
either way, once we cash them in and convert them, how long do we have to redeem them? do the deal vouchers have expiry dates, are they valid indefinately, or does it vary?
thanks for your wisdom and advice

The other way to do it is to spend a small amount on a high value voucher - say use £2.50 to get £10 off a meal out ....then Tesco will give you the "change" in your next clubcard statement.MFW 2019#24 £9474.89/£11000 MFW 2018#24 £23025.41/£15000

Could anyone tell me whether this means that you need to pay the (hugely inflated) RRP prices when using your vouchers or do you still get the in-store sale prices? Also would you get a package deal?
I have had no problems buying "sale" items at MFI!! Have had some really good deals paid for completely with Tesco deals vouchers..........0 -
Thanks 80934! I've never bothered with the MFI because I thought you were going to pay RRP and it wouldnt be worth it then. But I'll definately get some converted and spent now before the offer runs out. Shame my local mfi burnt down recently.. but it will be worth a trip out of town.0

I need help and am a complete novice with tesco deals, i have 150.00 / 600.00 to spend, I would like items from mfi.
Do I goto mfi first and choose my items?
Can i haggle discount from items that already are discounted?
What is the least cash deposit you can put to hold the items and how long can they hold them?
Do i order vouchers online at the tesco website? if so could someone run me through it
And finaly, can I pay for delivery using clubcard deal vouchers?
Sorry so many questions but the thread is so long now

I put a 10% deposit down on 17th jan for my cooker, oven and hob, when the sale was finishing. :j I have since been in and paid off £150 in club card deals and have pushed the delivery date back so I can go in in March to pay the balance with Clubcard deals, my delivery date is April 3rd, I could change it again - MFI are v relaxed about vouchere, you can only take 15 in at one time, so you may need a few visits anyway and they are treated as cash.
So get down there tell them what you want, I've heard people still haggle them down before whipping out their vouchers:rotfl:
Hope this helpsI'm just looking, I'm not buying.............
All Debts now paid :j
New Project Tesco points collecting :rolleyes:0 -
Just a quick question. I have a clubcard which I use a lot in my name with the initial J. I've just got another clubcard for my husband so that we get double the posted free points when you spend vouchers. If I register it in his name - same surname, different initial, can we use the deals vouchers/clubcard points together for holidays and stuff as we are married or am I best off not spending any points on that card and just using the postings for boosting the points on my own clubcard?0

I'm just about to book, have already phoned them up etc. Basically you get the internet price so its a great deal (seeing as cosmos you don't get the internet price so that hikes the cost up). Then I'm booking my accommodation separately, so all in all I decided a better deal than cosmos, which I used last year.
The only thing is that you have to pay all extras (taxes, fuel surcharges) in cash. This is fair enough really seeing as they don't make a huge profit on flights anyway.
All in all an excellent deal IMHO.:beer:0 -
Ok I no Tesco and MFI are finishing there partnership soon ,so I am planning using my vouchers for a real wood floor from MFI costing £450 approx and £50 delivery, I dont have the total amount in vouchers unfortunately. I did try and arrange a deal with my local MFI as the postage is steep, he gave me the impression they could not haggle if I used vouchers, to pay for part of the order. I think the flooring is overpriced anyway but since I purchased some in November and have decided to do a good size area of floor I need more. Is there any room for negotiation I would be happy if they would knock off the delivery charge and give me the sale price but the salesman didnt seem to be able to help me on that score. Has anybody managed to haggle a deal with MFI ,recently or has there policy changed as the salesman told me, anyone any help or advice thay can offer me please.0

I bought an oven in the MFI sale last month, the first salesperson I enquired with said the delivery charge would be £30 no room for dealing. When I came back 2 days later with 70% in vouchers to pay and cash for the rest, the second saleperson knocked off the delivery straight away. All I said both times was "oh, that;s very expensive. Can I pick it up from here instead of paying the charge please" and then they both said no.0

My husband has a big birthday coming up in March and I have been racking my brains as to what to do for it that was special.
So I had a look at the Tesco deals and notice paint balling with a firm called paintskirmish.
There is one near us in Stoke but it seems a bit dearer and there does not seem to be much choice of packages. So it looks like the one near Warrington is going to be the best one.
Has anyone actually done this and if so I need loads of practical advice. Do I go for as many paints as possible? Is it better to go for a half day rather than a full one which might be too exhausting? I also noticed lunch was included, what sort of lunch is this or is is just sandwiches and tea?
How do I actually go about getting my clubcard deals? Before when I did other deals, I sent them off and vouchers etc came back, will it be the same this time?
I am going to have to send my two sons with him, aged 15 and 17. Are they classed as adults or children? I think that they have both done it before with scouts.
Anything else I need to know?
