I'm off to live like a celeb in Cannes

They say things come in 3's but yesterday I won twice (was sure the 3rd thing would be the lottery but I "decided" to save that win until tomorrow's Euromillions LOL!)
Anyway won a £5 voucher in the GFK Tv survey monthly draw and received a garbled message on my voicemail from "Emily" from...couldn't make out the name but she said she had "interesting news she was sure I would be very pleased to hear."
Long story short - did I remember entering the Sky.com Oscar competition? TBH not specifically but I recognised it was something I would have done.
Anyway Emily was from the champagne people Moet & Chandon who sponsored the comp to "Live like an Oscar winner" - she said it was one of Sky's most entered comps with over 10,000 entries and one winner =MOI!!!
(Not going to bleet on a sob story but fair to say it's time our luck changed a bit).
Have won (and can take any time until end of year) the following:
2 return BA business class flight Heathrow to Nice
-Chaffeur-driven limo between Nice airport and hotel
-2 nights in Executive Suite at the Hotel Martnez (5* and where celebs stay for the film festival)
- Dinner at the 2 Michelin * restaurant La Palme D'or
- 2 hour Mercedes limo tour of Cannes
-£ 500 spending money
She even stressed (as if it were important) that the dosh was in £ not euros so "you don't even have to spend it in Cannes" - oh I will - got to have a cocktail on the beach.
Cheque arrived in my grubby mits today and June 10 off we go.
I have just read what I wrote and I sound like I'm out to make you jealous - I'm not I'm just so excited to finally win something and it hasn't quite sunk in.
This has restored my faith in comping!!!
Just to be a bit ungrateful:
1. The hotel is fully booked for the film festival (quelle surprise)
2. Have always wanted to go on the Eurostar but am flying biz class so I'll cope!

what a fantastic win! the hotel alone would have cost a fourtune to stay. i went once for drinks and to gawp - its fantastic you will love it. well done, enjoy!:eek:
