Are people so worried about any good news out that they have to make just a post on job losses!
I don't know what the problem is but some how job losses seem more relvent and "thanked" than any good news on the economy.0 -

See what you mean, so I thanked you.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
I think when people say they've seen green shoots they are in fact mistaking weeds for green shoots. The grasp of elementary horticulture in this country is truly shocking.. and talk of green shoots is wishful ..Krusty & Phil Madoff, 1990 - 2007:

Title suggests that it is, but it doesn't sound like it having looked at the figures. 30,000 since when? This month? Since the start of the recession? Since 1929?
i have read your sig so just for you..
ANNOUNCED TODAY.....It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0 -

It is the best indicator that shows how well our economy is placed to ride this storm out...mounting job losses = mounting defaults on debt ect ectIt is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?

The Forum is headed Debate house prices (soon to be so last decade), the economy (what economy), and the recession. So unfortunately job losses are right up there as a topic to be posted and discussed.
Perhaps a bit awkward for the bulls that while they can 'debate' house prices there's not so much to debate on actual job losses. Sympathy yes - debate no.0 -
