Hi,
Does anyone know if its possible to stop avg from automatically scanning the hard drive for viruses?
I am fed up with stopping what I am doing and turning off the anti virus scanner!!

I think this is what you need:
In the AVG Test Centre, click on 'Scheduler', then click on the entry that has 'Test' as it's type, then uncheck the 'Periodically start...' option.0 -
