baby milk

hello to all

not sure if this has been mentioned before but here goes.

my son will be 1 year old in may.
now we used to get discount on milk(powder stuff green tub).
this has stopped since last november.
we pay the full price now £6 per 500g tub

i was told that we could claim some sort of tokens which will enable us to buy the milk at a discount rate.

btw i work fulltime and the missus is a 'homemaker'
we do receive wtc and tc plus child benefit

any ideas anyone

At 12 months old, this is the ideal time to introduce cows milk (Full Fat) into his diet, that along with solid food will give him enough goodness and nutrients to 'do away' with formula milk.

Alternatively, ask your health visitor for some advice.

No you cannot get tokens, these are only for people on income support.

  • My Health Visitor told me full fat cows milk is fine as there main milk from 12 months on and there is no need for baby to have powered milk or follow on milk or any other promoted "baby/toddler" milk.
