Looking at booking for next year feb half term best place to go for value and when to book drive or fly any nelp to those that have done it would help

The UK operators rip you off at half time. I book a ferry and accomodation direct, drive down and save a fortune!!0

If you are thinking about going to the USA or Canada forget the tour operators as thay put huge surgharges on the flights. Its much cheaper to do it yourself. Watch out for Presidents day holiday in the USA, vacation hotel rates go up double+. You can get good rates in the city at this time though so go up to the mountains before or after and spend presidents weekend in the city.0
