Could anyone tell me how long after i have spent the required £10 on this card the 1500 airmiles become available to book a flight with?

That's incorrect, as part of the deal if applied for online you receive 1500 airmiles after spending £10 on the card.

As to the time frame for delivery of these points, I'm afraid I don't know, but I would expect it to be around 28 days or so, as these sort of things usually are.

i got an e-mail from martin about this offer, stating that if i register for these duo cards with lloyds and spend £10 i get 1500 airmiles....

but i already have these cards from lloyds i have only ever used the american express so far...

can i still spend £10 and get 1500 miles or is this for new customers only?

The 1500 miles for me was awarded shortly after the statement was generated and my 1 airmile from my £10 Amex spend was added to my airmiles account.

Hope some one can either point me in the right dirrection of give me a quick answer to the following,
Looking at going to Oz at the end of next year, if we collect airmiles how many dwe need for the flight?
How do we find out about the offeres on Airmiles?
Do all Airlines take Airmiles?

Well im off to Oz this wednesday and its 10,500 miles each, which is one way, so 21,000 each return.

The vaste majority of flights available with airmiles are with BA (as airmiles is a BA subsidiary), I have however seen 1 flight with Lufthansa.

It isn't a case of which airlines 'accept' airmiles, more which airlines you can book flight on for 'free' via the airmiles 'travel agency', as if you asked specific airlines if they excepted airmiles they'd probably point you (incorrectly) in the direction of their unrelated frequent flyer program.

No - with Airmiles a return flight to Sydney costs 10,000 Airmiles.

Perhaps you're thinking of an airline's frequent-flyer programme, which is different to Airmiles (at https://www.airmiles.co.uk)
