save webpage including Flash?

I was trying to save a webpage offline which includes a Flash animation.

Reason - it contains a zoomable map which has changed, and I wanted to keep the old version from Google cache

But opening the page saved on the PC, the Flash area is blank. I checked by saving the current version as well, and the same, no map, so it isn't an issue from Google cache

Does anyone know if this is possible?

Don't think google cache caches anything but the html, tbh.

Also, you can't cache a lot of flash stuff. Sometimes the actual .flv is just a program that downloads the actual content from elsewhere, like the youtube flash player for example. Try to download the .swf and you'll get the 90KB player.

There are ways to download the content being played, but it varies from site to site, and isn't always easy.
