You would need to "export" the files via the scart or aerial out unfortunetly.
Your laptop would require a tv in socket.
Files on a sky+ harddisk are in a file format unreadable by computers.
The programs are also stored encrypted I believe and when played are run through the sky card again to decrypt.

BenL is right but it is not too dificult. get a TV capture card for your laptop, around £30 on ebay, and it wil come with editing software.
then capture te footage, and remove the ads. not too hard really0 -
You can always use a DVD-Recorded if you have one to record it to DVD and then transfer it to your laptop to remove ads and then store/convert into any format you prefer.0

Yeah I've heard that those cheap cards come out with pretty bad quality though, apparently the best thing to do is what sinizterguy said, get a DVD recorder, burn them onto that, and then put the DVD into your laptop, and edit away! DVD recorders arent too expensive nowadays either.0
