Millets, Decathelon and TK Maxx spring to mind, all are stand alone stores rather then internet sites (though do have internet sites too.)0

Millets are doing 20% off all jackets this weekend http://www.millets.co.uk/category/clothing.html?utm_source=emailw6&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=banner0

Have you ever been to "sports direct" they have some brilliant stuff. I got my Berghaus hiking boots for 15 quid from there and OH got a pair ( not sure on the make but good) for 10er.
The boxes werre knackered and mine were slightly random colour but these are 100+ plus boots. I get all my dads golfing presents from there - jackets etc all branded and never spend more than a tenner or so. ( edit aaah they are part of the group that includes field & trek!)
http://www.sportsdirect.com/Products/Department/Outdoor/Outdoor+Footwear/Default.aspx:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
www.mountainwarehouse.com.
I don't know if they have the same offers on-line as in store but last week I got some walking trousers for £14.99 rrrp £49.99. I also noticed some nice fleeces at reduced prices."If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0 -
Thank you all very much.
The best ended up being the "Go Outdoors" site (although by the time I got 'round to ordering the Berghaus, it had gone back up !).
Ah, well.Thanks again.0 -

Hi try the Venturesport website online
They are currently clearing old lines on a blue cross sale. They have a shop in Norwich which sells at the same cheap prices as on their website0 -
Thanks will do.
A word of warning to others:
DONT TOUCH NEVIS SPORTS WITH A BARGEPOLE!!!
Happy to take your online order and hard earned cash. However, don't respond to phone calls, emails etc when they haven't sent anything.
In these "hard times for retailers", some people deserve to go under!0 -
Hello,
Does anybody know where outdoor / walking gear can be bought at a discounted price? I'm not looking for something for nothing and I know that some fairly "technical" materials are used, but fleeces etc do seem very overpriced.
I'm not bothered about latest styles or anything, and have tried TK Maxx and drawn a blank.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
Have you had Bennetts Irongate Online Store in your local area? They have fabulous range of outdoor outfit at reasonable prices. Even though the items were not discounted it is all worth the price in terms of quality and durability.0
