Visa Waiver Programme

My passport was issued in September 2004. I think I qualify for the Visa Waiver Programme, but could somebody confirm this for me please.
I will be travelling in May 2006.

Thanks

Whilst you passport is likely to be machine readable (see this to be certain), the question remains as to whether you are eligible for the scheme - there are loads of exclusions depending on, among other things, your past & the way you are travelling.

Certain people may not be eligible to use the VWP. If you've ever been arrested for certain offences, have serious communicable diseases, ever been refused entry to the USA before are examples. You can find the full list on the website quoted above.
    Enjoy your trip!
