Bulk DVD's and CD's Where to sell?

I'm in the process of packing to move to a flat and really having a GOOD clearout. I have 200+ dvd's and probably 1000 cd's to get rid of, I was thinking these would be ideal for people doing boot sales and was planning on selling the dvd's £45 for 50 not sure on the cd's, but where do I sell them? ebay or is there somewhere better for the target audience?
Thanks

If you need to get rid of them quick, I would put them on Ebay and advertise them under the wholesale/job lot section. If your not in a rush, you could sell them on Ebay as and when or use Musicmagpie.0

yep also try cex if there is a store nearby to trade in your dvds and cds - you wont get much for them mind but if you are selling in that sort of quantity - probably worth a go!0

Amazon and Play.com are pretty good for those that are worth anything.
For the run of the mill stuff, I would either try a bulk lot on eBay (you may need to make it collection only if very heavy), car boot or single eBay listings with 99p start (so no listing fee) if you have time on your hands.0 -
Thanks for the suggestions peeps, really don't have the time or motivation to do them singly so wanted to sell them in big lumps. I'll give ebay a go, what about gumtree? never tried anything on there0

Having been to a few auctions lately and seen how much prices have risen recently, it may be worth contacting your local auction house.
As a regular auction go-er, average prices have gone up 3-4 times what I would have paid a year or two ago.
Their commission will probably be more than you'd pay on ebay, but there's no paypal fees and no packing'n'posting.
If you do take that route, pack them into lots of small boxes rather than one big one. It will encourage the auction house to sell them in smaller lots and people will bid more for a small box with a few in they want, than they will for a big box with lots they don't want.
Something to do with the perception of wasting money on things they don't want.0 -
How to I list small bulk dvd movies(7 at a time in my case) on ebay. It will cost me £2.70 postage so I want to add postage but the entry screen will not let me put more than £0.00 in.
I know it must be possible as Ive seen others charge postage for bulk dvd entries.0 -

You have to sell them as wholesale but then that means you get less people seeing the auction which will reduce your end price.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
