Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.
Snowball says too far away, working hard to bring it forward.

What a shame. I like their smart clothes for work. Did the email say when shops were shutting?0

Some Elvi shops and concessions are to stay open, the retail chain having been bought out0

Sad to see but I'm not entirely surprised. Clothing is really quite expensive and I have not found staff in store to be too helpful. I usually dress casually when shopping as have to be smart for work and they tend to ignore me. Must think I'm too poor to buy there.0

Just an update in case anyone is watching. Elvi are still there and their current sale (including BOGOF) is excellent value. I ordered two shirts which arrived promptly and were such good quality/beautifully finished, that I have ordered more. If you watch their sales site, extra clothes are added to it almost every day. For example, the two shirts I already have are beautiful cotton/linen priced at £69 and £79 (madness!) for £20 plus £4.95 postage. One costs £20, the other "free". In addition, their customer service seems excellent. I changed my mind about my second order and emailed them to ask for something different, and they replied at once to say this would happen. For some reason the 2 garments (one "free") are arriving separately, but they are charging only one P&P.0

I have been visiting the Elvi shop in Aberdeen each time I am in town. A small sale area not very reduced and the rest are very expensive. I picked up a few bargains way back in April when they were going to be closing but none since.

I agree, the shops are dull and limited. But look at their website for the real bargains and BOGOFs. I am very pleased with my long, loose cotton and linen shirts. I would NEVER have spent £148 on the two of them (list prices!) but £20 for one and the other free seems VERY reduced to me, and there are 114 items at the moment in the sale. Admittedly many are hideous and others have very few sizes still available, but I have so far found 4 items for myself (2 of them free on their BOGOF) and am now scanning it for Christmas presents for sisters.0

The Elvi shop here closed several months back.I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0

I have never liked the shops - my point is that they are very busy on line and that their on line sale is excellent value. I have signed up for their sale alerts - it is not that I buy SO much - but you can watch things getting cheaper and cheaper and then pounce......0

Hi
tried to order 4 items thinking it was BOGOF on sale items but it appears to show all 4 items right up to the page where my credit card details go in really dont want to have to pay for the 4 rather than 2 anyone else had this problem ?0 -
I haven't - for me it has shown -£20 and the total is one thing only plus postage. Maybe it would work better if you did two transactions separately?0
