Green felt tip on carpet

Hi all does anyone have any idea how to get green felt tip out of a cream carpet, my lovely dd has decided that the carpet was a good place to draw a picture of a face, doesnt really match my decor though :rotfl:
Been told white vinegar mixed with washing powder helps but at the moment i dont have any white vinegar and cannot get any until tomorrow
Any suggestions greatly appreciated
Thanks

Baby wipes can be quite good with felt tips marks.

best thing ive found is that magic eraser sponge from JML. Its the only thing ive found that removes felt pen completley leaving no trace (my daughter drew on my new chenille sofa yesterday!)
