Welcome newdeepsaver, and well done on going through with it on the 2nd. You will be fine - honestly from what I've heard on here OR's are generally really nice people, they are not there to punish you neither are they there to look down their noses at you with a condescending disapproving look. What's past is past and from here it is just onwards and upwards.

    Good luck :)

Spoke to my OR (or the assistant, not sure) this afternoon who ran through a few questions about my business and whether it had any assets etc - also ran through my bank accounts as she got a bit confused when I said "no" to the "is your income paid into this account" part next to my cashminder/cash card accounts but then asked to keep them. Turns out they are only allowing me one account - all the others are going to be closed - so she asked me which one I wanted to keep. I opted for the Barclays one - I guess I can always open another cashminder further down the line if I need to, right?

    Cheers!

  • A belated Congratulations sieve, and welcome to the club:D:p

I see no reason why you cant open another later, must admit its the first time i have heard they only allow one account, many BR,s have had two, one for bill payments and one for genral spend, but most opened them after BR.
Thats it, i am done, Blind-as-a-Bat has left the forum, for good this time, there is no way I can recover this account, as the password was random, and not recorded, and the email used no longer exits, nor can be recovered to recover the account, goodbye all …………. :(

    Thanks blind :)

Yeah I think she just thought it was a bit odd why I would want two - after the interview I will ask about a second account, I guess there's no reason really for me not to have a second one - after all it makes it MUCH easier to separate the business expenses from the personal ones. Hey ho - could be worse, I could have been disallowed both!
