Any ideas of the price of a new gas meter?

the property that I'm considering buying has had the gas meter removed, does anybody have any idea how much it would cost to have a new gas meter installed?
Lifes problems wouldn't be called hurdles if there wasn't a way to get over them!

    I should think you'r gas supplier would fit one free. Why not give one of them a ring.

    They are always looking for customers.
    I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.
