family element tax credits query

I am in the process of working out what we should be getting benefits wise as I believe we may have crossed the threshold for the family element of tax credits. As a couple we both do salary sacrafice to get the full amount of childcare vouchers. It makes a difference to our combined income by nearly £6k. So do the tax credits people count it as income or not?

You need to send the details of the salary sacrifice scheme to HMRC so that they can verify the details of the scheme.
If it is an approved salary sacrifice scheme you don't need to declare the amount you sacrifice as a taxable income.0
