strawberry seeds

None of my strawberry seeds came up. I was warned that they are difficult to grow from seed, I guess they were right

The plan now is to buy some strawberry plants, can you recommend a particular variety?

the gardeners world web site has various offers of various varieties.
im still waiting for my 10 free plants but go for whatever you want.
i have bought tomatoes seeds of a variety that grow well in baskets so they can drape along the floor

dont know what they are called but i brought 6 for £4 from wilkos hope this helps

Ive got loads, like a stawberry field in our garden, but they are nice and sweet.

Oh we have wild strawberries in our garden and I really will need to use their runners next year to get more plants as they are delicious, teeny tiny and very sweet. I think that I might get some new plants as well so that they fruit at different times and plant them in my soft fruit bed.

We started with four in year one

In year two we had forty from the original four.

This year we have eighty, not including the ones that are growing in the path now...

Strawberries aren't easily killed. Probably one of the more tim resistant plants.
