Actiongirl wrote:Hey boufje. I have just checked online again, and the offer still isn't on there. Which leads me to wonder whether you have signed up for the old deal (see previous Eve posts). If not, then fab - obviously they are up to date and I will call them. But just check, cos you may be paying the wrong amount sub to get the bag. Let us know!
This is the next deal. I subscribed to Eve magazine last month and received the May issue yesterday so the deal for the bag is current.
The bag actually looks quite nice.0 -
So long as you gave the right code for the bag- bag is what you should get. The other descriptions of the bag sound fine. I wouldn't know how to describe it, and its not my thing- but it definately looks like a quality bag, and 'Kew' ( https://www.kew-online.com ) seem to make some nice stuff (the bag isn't on their website though).0

Fey wrote:I'm new to this board and in a moment of drunk madness back in Feb i read about a Glamour Magazine offer and a Red subscription and fancied the offers and the process sounded really easy subscribe get goods and cancel early. When it came to dates for recieving the mags i asked for late starts with Glamour to start in May i figured i didn't want two lots of magazine at the same time.
Apart from an e-mail confirming my Glamour mag subscription dated 28/02 i've received zilch in the post by way of gifts and haven't heard from Red magazine i can't even remember what their offer was but it sounded excellent at the time. Anyone know what it was i tried a search and couldn't find it. But I've got a tart alert reminding me to cancel it - but without an email from Red cancellation is going to be difficult.
Was my choicie of late start dates a factor do you suppose or they are going to do what they did with a Lifestyle offer that i bought as a presssie for a friend she got the one year subscription but the gifts never arrived they had run out. I think this whole business is a bit of a con.
Apologies for the rant but think in future i'll just stick to buying the odd mag off the shelf now and then and picking up perfume duty free.0 -

I don't know - I'm in two minds. I received crabtree and evelyn from Tatler offer, and my magazine from essentials turned up today too... so I am seeing some starting to come through. Also, my C & E stuff was bashed big time, so I called Tatler and they sent me another lot. I still think I have come out on top (just)! And look at it this way - the more time I spend looking for free/cheap stuff, the less time I am in the shops spending way more  !!!0 -
The Economist has a new offer going. ----> LINK
12 issues (it is weekly) for £12 then £20 per quarter by DD

Someone was looking for BBC mag offers? some HERE,
NB, I have received Marie Claire, Woman and Home and New Woman freebies in the last 2 days. Very pleased so far as I only started subscribing to the mags a week or so ago.My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead

If you dont receive things, and especially if you dont get the confirmation emails, contact the companies (sorry Ive no idea of the phone no of the Glamour one as I did not subscribe but email is glamour@subscription.co.uk and include your DD reference). Sometimes I wait about 2-3 months before contacting. All in all I do receive my goods, but this might be because I subscribe early, so if in doubt, subscribe by phone to double check the offer is still valid/gifts have not run out.0 -
Got my L'oreal stuff today - pretty good for a quid. Anyone know if the straightening stuff is for use on damp or dry hair? E-mailed Red (again) re the Decleor - had been told twice it was on way - cos I didn't get the offer to cancel thought it was coming. they've now taken the money. they said they would send replacement gift. I quite like Red so not too bothered but don't why some got chance to cancel and others didn't. Thye told me twice I would receive it.0
