Personal Loan Express Ltd - In Administration - Help!

Hi

I put a thread on the forum recently about a trying to reclaim a PPI which was with GE Money, but having sent them the first letter, got a reply saying we would have to go through the broker who was Personal Loan Express Ltd.

When I tried to check their details (incase they had moved address) I went on Companies House website to see that they are listed as being in administration!

So where do we go now? To the administrator or back to GE Money?

So sorry to hear of that.
Its frustrating I know.

I would get in touch with the administrators and the Financial Compensation Scheme (FSCS).

With one of mine with a different company I had to complete forms from both the administrator and the FSCS, get in touch with the FSCS ask if they are listed with them, they should arrange to send a form to you, good luck.;)

Hi, I've been told the same by GE Money about my PPI claim that the company I needed to contact was Personal Loan Express Ltd, who are no longer trading. I wasn't aware that it was them that I had taken my PPI out with as all payments were made to GE Money. I have contacted FSCC and they are sending me a claim pack. I'm confused at what GE Money have said about my original agreement was with another company as I honestly don't remember dealing with them and don't have any paperwork regarding this other company!

GE are money are the lender and your loan with them funded the insurance you took out. If you allege something is mis-sold then you need to complain to the seller, in this case its Personal Loan Express Ltd who may have traded under a different name. You need to contact the FSCS but only if its after Jan 05, if before then its now hard luck.
