I think is legal to sell without saying, did you ask the seller, or ask to see the V5?0
-
If you specifically asked, they have to tell the truth.
The seller doesn't have to tell you upfront.
A HPI check should show this up before purchasing.0 -
why didnt you check the v5 before
it just sounds like an economical write off0 -
Should always do a HPI check before buying a car.... But as above it does sound like it was only just an economical write off (where the car would cost more to repair then its actually worth)
You can actually pick up cars quite cheap this way! there are quite a few write offs ive seen that only involve changing a wing and a door, and you have a perfect working runaroundJames0 -
I saw the v5 and there was nothing on it but its came back on the new one~We are all going to hell and guess who Is driving the bus~*Norn Iron club Member 294* (Hi, we’ve had to remove part of your signature. By change your insurance I assume you mean make sure the new car is covered? If so, don't want for the V5 to come to do this. Do it from the moment the V5 is signed over.CHEAP doesn't mean ETHICAL0
