angry consumers urged to use the Ombudsman
Comments

Hi David
Toad Lilys post was in April 2009.
The whole situation has completely changed since then.
Claimants need to assess how their situation relates to the current reclaims options and what the Ombudsman has said it can currently consider, which is markedly different to a year ago.:)Please ignore those people who post on this forum who deliberately try to misinform you. Don't be bullied by them, don't be blamed by them. You know who I mean.
You come here for advice, help and support- thats what I and like minded others will try to do.0 -
Hmm what's it doing on the forum then, aren't they in order? Will pay more attention in future.
With regards to the situation described though I think the comments made by nattie still stand. The whole test case has no real bearing, it is about a company not cancelling a DD which can't be permitted unless as other says its a loan or something like that.
Dinah93's post caught my attention, if the bank failed to act when they knew there was a dispute between the account holders, and they have admitted this there should be something done to put it right.Mixed Martial Arts is the greatest sport known to mankind and anyone who says it is 'a bar room brawl' has never trained in it and has no idea what they are talking about.0 -
Don't worry about it David, everyone does it. This is perhaps due to your enthusiasm which is great and to be encouraged!!!!:)
Generally threads drop down the lists as time passes and newer threads take their place. This especially happens if the thread becomes out of date or no-one adds to it.
At some point, older threads are archived by the site team.:)
I think Dinahs point may well still be perfectly valid however. Please ignore those people who post on this forum who deliberately try to misinform you. Don't be bullied by them, don't be blamed by them. You know who I mean.
