How many accounts can you have with Nationwide?

I have a Nationwide flex account and e-banking, I am looking to open 5-6 other current accounts just to split my money into when I get paid for various different purposes. Can I open this many different accounts with the Nationwide and I also want to be able to transfer money between the accounts online. If not Nationwide, does anyone know how else I could do this?
Many thanks!

Are you wanting them all working as a current account or are some of them going to be saving accounts?

I have 14 accounts on my Nationwide On-line banking, and for the most part they work fine. However I have noticed that at busy times some of my accounts will "disappear" only to reappear the next day or a few hours later. So I think they more you have the more likely this will happen.

I would think it could damage your credit rating. If you want "pots" of money open a few e-savers and one flexaccount. You can transfer the money instantly.

In case forum readers were wondering why in heaven's name anyone should want multiple Flex accounts (and cards) , actually many expats had a damn good reason but that reason will cease very shortly !

The debit cards were used by millions of shrewd expats to withdraw cash at overseas ATM'S at interbank rate without fees, charges or loadings anywhere in the world .

With a limit of £300 per card per day, the only way to withdraw large sums was through having multiple cards. IE if you needed £3,000 pounds you had to have ten accounts/cards .
In June the recently announced charges come in, so the shine has come off these Visa cards .
THE GOOD NEWS : Still no announcement of charges on the N/W cash cards so expect an avalanche of requests from expat account holders to exchange their Visa debit cards for N/W Cirrus Mastercard cash cards .
NB THIS CONCERNS ONLY EXPATS BASED OUTSIDE EUROPE .
Cards within Europe will remailn free of all charges
