tee hee, you could say that, although I don't think the luck will hold out long but I'm going to use it wisely :) Overdraft :D originally my overdraft date was going to be end of august, now I think I could be out of it by end of june :D so long as I stick to all my budgets etc and not overspend (or not spend at all!! lol) glad to see your getting there for your bill :) :T:T

  • I have just paid my Rates bill of £750 with money which I borrowed from my credit Union. Next year the bill will be £850, so the Rates people say.
It will take me 4 years to repay the Credit Union.
Should I increase the loan next year to pay the new bill, or should I take the money out of my shares? The shares WILL cover the new bill next year unless it rises above £950. Is it better to have the shares IN CASE? and just keep paying the monthly bill. It will be about £55 a month, at present £25.

HIYA im in the credit union too, love it

by the way just wondered did you pay all your rates in one go...doesnt your council allow you to pay over 10 months like ours?

arnt you instantly paying for the loan with interest? i m just wondering to pay it without paying interest thats all

mind you im playing a cat and mouse game with my council, im paying weekly by bill payment via my online banking, and i refuse to be duped into paying by direct debit,,,, so i do understand paying it off, however, i dont want to pay interest neither if i dont have to

anyway everyone has to find their own way i guess, good luck

    Morning Stacey :) :hello:

Did you manage to get your elec bill paid? Last time I checked you were at £320/£400. I'm sure you did.

I don't think your diary is boring :) I like reading how others are getting on, if they're doing well, if they're not doing so well etc that way I don't feel like I'm the only one who has the bad days as well as the good :)

    Hope your ok :) xx
