Barbados All Inclusive

Anyone knowthe best way for me to find accomodation for 2 weeks AI in July for 5 adults and 1 child?

I've had a look on the main travel agents sites but am not sure how to go about it.

If i have flights sorted, how do i go about booking a hotel separatly?, I'm quite apprehensive what happens if i get there and they don't have the booking??

I like the look of crystal cove, but does anyone know of any good hotels there?

Thanks!!

    Hi Brown_Suga

You could check out this site - loads of accommodation on here.

    http://www.barbados.org/stay.htm

I love Barbados - been there 5 times (hoping to go later in the year if we save enough!)

You can book directly with the hotel - they'll usually send any necessary confirmatiion by fax / e mail so I wouldn't worry. You will probably need to book a car to meet you at the airport. There's loads of car rentals on this site too - I e mailed a number of them last time for quotes to get a good deal.

    Have a fab time,

it often works out more expensive for Barbados to book them seperatly unless you want a large apartment then it can be cheaper. We stayed at the Tropical Escape near Holetown and it was really good only a 3* but well worth the money I think https://www.eclipsedirect.co.uk have it now..off again for the cricket WC 07....cant wait
If you look anything like your passport photo....Your too ill to travel

You should check https://www.tripadvisor.com for reviews. We went on our first all inclusive to Barbados in October last year to Escape at the Gap. Through Virgin Holidays. 3* hotel. Food better than most 5* hotels we've stayed in. We've just booked the same hotel to go back to in October this year. We toyed with going to Crystal Cove, but were put off by all the negative reviews that we read about it. I’m sure you will find a hotel that suits you. Just remember that things are a bit slower than over here. You just have to adjust to this.

I've always been self catering when I have gone to Barbados as there are so many lovely places to eat (especially if you are staying in St Lawrence Gap) Also the island is great to explore with such contrasting coastlines and we have never wanted to be tied down to returning to hotels for meals (and I certainly don't believe in paying to go AI and then eating out!) I'ts great to hire a car, or the buses are really cheap and cheerful. The 'boogie' buses are an experience!!!
