If she doesn't use the phone much, and, there is mobile coverage there, what about a PAYG or low amount monthly contract rather than landline?pmlindyloo wrote: »My mother is 87 and has a landline only with BT. Have been investigating payg mobile phones.
If I could persuade her to use one I would need one with big numbers and very very easy to use!
Also, am rather concerned that other members of the family (and me!) would see a big rise in their bills as we telephone often and speak for some time.
Will continue to investigate but many thanks for all the suggestions - what a wonderful lot you are!0
