OnePulse upgrades

I got a letter from Barclaycard this morning saying that my Gold Visa has been approved for an upgrade to OnePulse. Obviously I'm quite shocked as I haven't asked for this, and my Gold Visa doesn't expire until November 2010!

Does anybody know if I'll be able to get some of the opening offers for OnePulse when it comes (currently 0% on purchases for 6 months, or 0.5%/5% TFL cashback until Dec 09)

Also, would I be able to transfer the balence of my current Oyster card to it (and get my £3 oyster deposit back! :rolleyes:)

A friend of mine had the same letter recently. Ironically he'd just missed 2 payments by accident yet they still approved him. I thought I'd call to see if I could upgrade my card as i've paid my card off in full the past 3 or so years I've had it and was told I didn't qualify. Credit is a load of voodoo I tell you.
