Hubby and I stayed in Haltwhistle at the Ashcroft Guesthouse (https://www.ashcroftguesthouse.co.uk) last September. Excellent accommodation (tea and biccies on arrival served on the terrace) and terrific breakfasts, can thoroughly recommend.
