in Credit cards
I'm new to this, but i was wondering if any could help me out. .we have a mortagage of £7900 left to pay with hsbc at 5.50% rate, is there a credit card out there that would be better rate of interest, other than the 0% which you have to keep switching every so often. thanks.

Yes, there are! 4.9-4.95% for life of balance. See http://www.stoozing.com/0fees.htm - bottom of the list and BEST BUYS: Easy Route, a one off move for permanently low rates . However, minimum payment is 2-3% that could be more than you pay now.
Also it is not that easy to switch a mortgage to a credit card. See Super BTs and Stoozing links above.0
