Decking as wood for raised beds suitable?

I wondered if the wood used for decking is treated with anything that may make it unsuitable for raised beds?

    think that decking would look nice as raised beds ,,but i think that any wood ,,,from pallettes to decking would do ,,and dont think that there would be anything on the wood that would harm the plants that you would place inside :D

    Used the long decking boards for my raised beds a couple of years ago....... I'm still alive,

    They look super, those that advocate pallettes ( sorry KAAT_LADY) must have larger garden's than me.
    My veg patch near my back door has to be visibly attractive.
    So Bob flower-dew can keep his old tyres and older carpets and all wood in my garden will be straight/solid/ smooth and look good.
