no its not too late make a formal complaint to her line manager, including copies of the proof and demand all monies are retuned if you can prove without doubt you did not contribute to the purchase of the vehicleThats it, i am done, Blind-as-a-Bat has left the forum, for good this time, there is no way I can recover this account, as the password was random, and not recorded, and the email used no longer exits, nor can be recovered to recover the account, goodbye all ………….0 -
I am the registered keeper of our car, but the missus payed for it, i tax and insure it and the OR was quite happy with that. Exempt as far as they were concerned."Well, that sounds like a pretty good deal. But I think I got a better one. How about I give you the finger, and you give me my phone call"

Car was bought by ex when he left as he took the family car with him, he has the reciept which is in his name, nothing contributed from me at all. Maybe the OR saw it as a gift to me though?
Not sure I want to rock the boat now as they have written to me saying they have finished with my case and are asking to be released as the trustees.
The money has been paid, only £100, let sleeping dogs lie I say
But I hope this raises awareness for other people in same situation..BSC No: 2450 -

it is possible they saw it as a gift, and that would cloud the issue, depends what you said at the time of the interview, and we know how stressfull that is so you may have said he gave it to you, not conclusive, but enough for them to claim it was yours.....maybe
This is one thing that annoys me, they dont mis a thing, yet £100 is not really worth them collecting, its a drop in the ocean compared with the OR's fees, let alone your creditors. sometimes it just seems so petty:rolleyes:Thats it, i am done, Blind-as-a-Bat has left the forum, for good this time, there is no way I can recover this account, as the password was random, and not recorded, and the email used no longer exits, nor can be recovered to recover the account, goodbye all ………….0 -

At the interview, I pointed out that although I was registered keeper, I was not the owner of the car as my ex paid for it for me to use to take our daughter to school as it is 3 miles away.
It is annoying as although it was only £100, that's alot of money to me and as you say a drop in the ocean to them. Still, what's done is done..BSC No: 2450
